The duo's been around. They released Streets Of Gold in 2010 (you probably know "My First Kiss" which featured Kesha) and Omens in 2012, both through Photo Finish Records. But the band has been relatively silent since then. They've played a few college shows here and there, but they were relatively absent from the scene. Well they're about to change that. The duo has since signed onto Fueled By Ramen and released the provocatively titled "My Dick". If you thought the video for "Don't Trust Me" was weird, just watch the video for "My Dick" (and then getting the song stuck in your head).
On March 3rd, which they named 3Oh!3 day, they released an announcement (at 3:03 pm) saying that they are releasing a new album called Night Sports. The album's preorder comes with two songs, the prereleased "My Dick" and their new song "Mad At You". They also debuted the song's music video (which is not nearly as odd as "Don't Trust Me" or "My Dick"). With the era of trashy pop coming to an end, what direction is 3oh!3 going to go? I'm interested to see how they're going to revamp their image and tell the world "Hey! We're still here!"
"Night Changes" is off 3oh!3's fifth studio LP Night Sports, which is set to be released on May 13 through Fueled By Ramen. The music video for "Night Changes" is directed by Isaac Ravishankara, who also directed 3oh!3's video's for "My First Kiss" and "Don't Trust Me". The album is available for preorder on iTunes, and the song is available to stream on iTunes. The duo currently has no upcoming performances.
