Set It Off's Duality is an awesome album. It was produced by the legendary John Feldmann, who has worked with every punk rock band from All Time Low to We Came As Romans. This song, the album's title song, is about conflicting personalities. Singer Cody Carson has said, "I've always been borderline obsessed with the notion of duality. Something about the juxtaposition of two polar opposites seems so vulnerable and blatantly human to me. Everyone has two sides, the side they let people see and the side they hide."
The song has a 90s pop feel. The video also reflects that. Carson looks like a punk rock Justin Timberlake. He flashes his duality hand signal many times, and dances around with a very attractive woman dancer. Everyone else jams out in the either blue or red lit room.
"Duality" is off Set It Off's sophomore album of the same name. The album is available on iTunes and Spotify. They will be kicking off The Fight For Something Tour with Tonight Alive in March in Chicago.
